The 4th fair of telecommunications, information technology and digital equipment “Smart Tech” was held on 26th and 27th of November, from 10 AM to 10 PM, at the central atrium of the shopping center Delta City in Podgorica. The Fair was organized by the agency Vision Event, sponsored by the Ministry for Information Society and Telecommunications.
This year’s topic is innovation in the field of communication and information technologies. We succeed to achieve the objectives of the Fair – ICT companies in Montenegro presented to potential business partners and end-users in a special ambiance and we provided visitors to try latest devices – mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and services provided by the development of modern technologies.
For the fourth year in a row, a participant of the Smart Tech is Crnogorski Telekom. Crnogorski Telekom introduced the Turbo DSL – new technology, based on the copper infrastructure that brings a lot of customers increase speed (20 Mbps), greater stability of Internet services and allows up to 5 times higher-speed download and up to 10 times higher speed in the upload, compared to ADSL; and TV For All – TV service that offers in partnership with the Radio Diffusion Centre, which is based on the DVB-T2 technology and allows coverage of 97% of the population, with very affordable prices for users, easy installation and an interesting selection of channels.
VG Group presented the most advanced information solutions for the hospitality and retail facilities, fiscal equipment, detectors bills, bar code scanners, and during the week when Smart Tech was, they have approved special discounts. Like last year, visitors to the exhibition area of company ComTrade had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the latest models of Tesla mobile phones, as well as televisions and tablets.
Orion Telekom Montenegro presented the standard services that provides: unlimited bandwidth, IP television and fixed telephony. Interested visitors got relevant informations about services and coverage, and all new users who signed the contract, got 2 months free service.
Company E kupi at the Smart Tech exhibited Philips phones, tablets, TVs, air conditioners, MS Industrial peripherals (mice, keyboards, speakers …) and Asus laptops. A special part of the presentation was devoted to their online store www.ekupi.me.
For the fourth time was participated D Photo Trade, which this year introduced devices: Konica Minolta bizhub C258 – color A3 multifunctional device; OKI Pro 9541dn – printer A3, which, in addition to the usual 4 cells (cyan / magenta / yellow / black), and has the fifth – white or transparent; Epson SureLab D700 – photo printer, which is intended to partially or completely replace the existing machines for photos in the photo lab.
Visitors presented the firm Smart Tech, who presented two products: Smart Solution – Enterpise Resource Planning, which is a system of corporate business for SMEs and Smart Management System – an advanced system for the digitization of the archive, document, workflow and case management.
The company Telemont presented the latest smartphones one of the 10 leading manufacturers – companies Coolpad. It is a brand that uses the impact of its advanced research and product development, to improve all parts of life of its users.
In today’s business environment, great attention is paid to safety and security of the entire business. S & T Montenegro at the fair presented the Smart Logon service, which enables reliable authentication employed by application to the computers of the company and control of the premises.
Possibility of sampling the latest technologies, through the projects of Innovative Entrepreneurship Center Technopolis, made a special atmosphere and resulted in the increase of interaction with vistors. The company 212 com will introduce virtual reality – HTC Vive device, which allows users to see, hear and move in a virtual environment. The user with the help of “glasses” has a full view of their own environment in a completely different reality in which can have an incredible level of interaction. Drone Studio presented an drones or unmanned aerial vehicles, which are controlled via a remote control with a wireless connection, and advanced models like the DJI Phantom Professional, allow the video link, is via a mobile phone or tablet and can be viewed live image from the camera on the aircraft . The joint project of Montenegro Guide, the Drone studio and ChoDex Studio is a novelty in video production and represents a full panoramic view – “360-degree videos”. Users were available to sample devices VR boxes and watch numerious 360-degree segments.
In addition to these, The Center Of Excellence In Bioinformatics (BIO-ICT) presented solutions that work for the purpose of digitizing the agricultural production in Montenegro, such as: smart irrigation work, meteorological station, smart buoys, smart metering, ecological monitoring. Bio-ICT is the first Center of excellence in Montenegro at the University of Montenegro, which is realized as a three-year research program.
TC Delta City recorded a huge number of visitors – over 40 000 during the Smart Tech, who did not hide the delight of presented latest technologiy which is available in Montenegro.
