The 5th New Technologies Fair “Smart Tech” was held on 25th and 26th of November, at the central atrium of the shopping center Delta City in Podgorica. The Fair was organized by the agency Vision Event, sponsored by the Ministry of Science, with support of Ministry of Economy.
At this year’s New Technologies Fair, on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 10 pm, in the attractive environment, visitors are given a chance to get acquainted with the benefits and possibilities of using modern technology and to inform about the latest world trends that dictate the development of a modern society, but available in Montenegro.
In addition to inevitable smartphones, tablets and computers, television systems, smart home appliances, audio and video equipment, at the Smart Tech are presented applications that save our time and facilitate our everyday life, various gadgets, video game equipment, modern multimedia services and many other smart products of current brands.
For the fifth year in the row, participant of Smart Tech is D Photo Trade. This year they presented incredible product “iPlus” – a unique way to sell printers. In their exhibition space, they also presented the latest models of brand printing devices that represent in the territory of Montenegro: Konica Minolta, Develop, OKI and Epson.
All the visitors were able to see numerous 360 degree segments, try virtual reality glasses, drones, as well as the latest headphones, chargers, adapters, steering wheels, joysticks, power banks, provided by Stratus, which is represented the very popular Acme brand. In addition to the above, they presented the most effective gaming equipment of the brand Aula (keyboards, headphones, mice, etc.). The complete offer, from the exhibition space of Stratus, visitors were able to try and buy at lower prices.
This year, visitors to the fair also presented firm E-kupi with brands for which they are representatives and distributors for Montenegro, through their sister company Kimtec CG. The most common were the products of one of the most popular brands in our market – Vivax and Acer. The visitors were able to get acquainted with the numerous features of Vivax phones, TVs and home appliances, as well as Acer laptops. A special part of the presentation was dedicated to the promotion of the web store www.ekupi.me.
Company Audio Video Concept, the authorized distributor of the leading luxury brand in audio/video equipment – Bang & Olufsen, presented at the Fair four lines of exclusive products: the BeoVision TV line, featuring timeless design, modern technology and cutting-edge materials; BeoLab speaker line that completed the home cinema solution 4K UHD images; BeoSound line speaker with active speakers as well as the latest SHAPE sound system whose power and design customers can create themselves; as well as the attractive BeoPlay line of active and bluetooth speakers and headphones. Visitors to the Fair were able to try out all the exhibits, to buy on the spot, but also to order everything from the complete Bang & Olufsen program, with a discount of 5-10% depending on the purchase.
Participation at the New Technology Fair was also taken by EWE Montenegro, which presented DELL laptops and monitors, NZXT enclosures, Cooler master equipment, as well as Kyocera and Redragon brands on their stand.
At the exhibition stand of Comtrade Distribution, the latest Tesla TVs, smartphones, tablets, as well as GoPro action cameras and accessories were presented.
A very attractive offer of the latest mobile phones, laptops, gaming equipment, scooter balance, and LED lights for cars were presented at the Mobileland exhibition area.
Radiodiffusion center presented its activities in the field of radio communications and telecommunications, picture, sound and data transmission services, as well as other modern multimedia services.
Participant of the Fair was the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services, whose representatives provided all necessary information to interested visitors about the rights of users of electronic communications, protecting their interests, as well as about the procedure for filing an operator complaint or complaint to the Agency. Also, all visitors received informative-educational content which could been found at the exhibition space of the Agency.
The visitors had the opportunity to seen various and innovative robots with different functions, which were presented by the Department of Mechanics at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Montenegro. Some of presented robots were: mobile robot “MNE Robeco”; a mobile robot with built-in airbag; balancing a mobile robot on two wheels, as well as many others.
At the New Technologies Fair we saw the possibilities and functionality of Lego Robots by the team MonteBot from the elementary school „Pavle Rovinski“, which represents the first school in Montenegro that began to deal with robotics. The MonteBot team presented the many features and functions of the robots which they created.
As the leader in application of digital technologies in modern banking Hipotekarna bank was presented its latest products and services.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Education, UNICEF and Telenor were designed the game NETFriends for children aged 9 to 11 years. Game guides children through real life scenarios and teaches them to recognize, prevent, stop and report violence on the Internet. NETFriends is available as a site netprijatelji.me and as an application for smartphones. During the SmartTech all children had the opportunity to play this game, while parents learned more about the initiative “Digital Literacy for Every Child”, through which digital literacy will be provided to every child in elementary school.
For all visitors who shared photos on Instagram during the fair, the Instalab team made fantastic photomagnets instantly.
Gaming tournament was held two-days by the E-Sports Alliance in cooperation with Gaming Haus and PC Gamer Games. On Saturday 25th of November, a tournament was held in Fifa18 and Clash royale games, and on Sunday 26th of Novembar in Pes18 game. For the best were provided valuable prizes. For the Fifa18 tournament, the winner received the Sony4 prize, the second-placed Fifu18, and the third-placed Smart watch. For Clash royale: the first-ranked got Samsung A5, the second-placed received keyboard, and the third-placed received handset. On the final tournament Pes18, the winner received the Sony4 prize, the second place got Pes18, while the third prize was awarded Smart watch.
Over 40,000 visitors, enjoyed in attractive ambience and offer which were presented by our participants this year. They enjoyed in interactive gathering, as well as in trying out and getting acquainted with the latest technological achievements.
